Circus Glass Royale/Cirkus i Glasriket once started as a research project. Conducting research is ever since a large portion of the Company’s working method, as well as a way to work with artistic development.

We always strive to create things that are new – Innovation is the engine of our business! Through research, we build our knowledge base, which we then communicate to others. Circus Glass Royale’s educational activities, with both artists and professionals as well as children and young people, is an exchange where knowledge is made available and spread.

Our public artistic activities, as well as seminars and workshops, are also important for the dissemination of knowledge.

Projects

Two of our previous research projects:
– Glass and Plasticity in Space – 2011, with support from Innovativ Kulturfond

Artist in Residence

We are working to develop Artist in Residence, places of performers to interact and collaborate, based on our interdisciplinary working method. This is implemented with different partners, and we are striving for more permanent partnerships.
